Description
Original on Canson 120 lb paper. Ink/graphite/acrylic wash. minimalist. Pointillism technique. ( The battle of Rosebud creek June 17, 1876 between the U.S. army and the Lakota-Northern Cheyenne coalition led by Crazy Horse. The battle was indecisive, and led to the battle of the Little Big Horn eight days later. Wild roses grew along the banks of the creek, whence the name Rosebud . Signed and sealed on verso.
