Description
U.S.PD: Reproduction of vintage photograph Domenico Antonio Galento: b. 1910. d. 1979. One of the great characters of boxing. A tough relentless brawler with a wicked left hook. He boxed a 500 lb bear, and a kangaroo for publicity stunts, and also wrestled a huge octopus. His boxing record: 112 fights. 80 wins: 57 KO's: 26 losses: 5 draws: 1 no contest: He earned the name "two ton" when he told his manager he was late for a fight because he had to deliver " two tons of ice " His training menu consisted of fried chicken, spaghetti, hamburgers, hot-dogs, and a gallon of red wine. They don't make'em like Two Ton anymore, he was a bartender and brawler but in his left hook, 'he carried the American dream' !
