PD: Reproduction of vintage c. 1911 photograph of Emiliano Zapata: b. 1879. d. 1919. The main leader of the peasant revolution in the Mexican state of Morelos. The founder of "Zapatismo" (agrarian reform) in Mexico. He was ambushed and killed in 1919. He is credited with the following quote: " It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees, I want to be a slave to principles, not to men "
